What's the number one complaint about a TM job??? Too WETTTTT too Longggggg.....Do you even clean carpet hahaha
A sub surface tool can pull moisture out if pad, I doubt we're pulling all the dust that gathers under the carpet with a primary secondary backing and latex glue.
But your probably sharing from personal experience, with makes me wonder if you know anything about chemistry
I use fans and last step rinse with a speed drying agent and a 4.8 blower. What's the number one complaint about a TM job??? Too WETTTTT too Longggggg.....
Second complaint a very closed second RE-SOILED.....
Doesn't take a chemist to figure that out![]()

Drying isnt a issue I have a problem with.
You two idiots are name calling and bashing steam cleaning.

Going back to the early days ( 2012 -2019 ) when I first started experimenting with VLM VacAway had a VLM Forum and I would be the TM guy asking all the questions
Joel Hoppe answered all my questions
I used to tell him I should be sending you a check for educating me
THANK YOU Joel
It's now 2026 and I have developed my way of using the VLM Method
Completely different from the way Joel uses VLM
LESS water MORE agitation !!!

No tank for residentialNo tank?
Can you explain your process on residential please
No tank for residential
Because I believe you need to CRB residential carpet
1 - Vacuum
2 - Spray down Detergent
3 - Scrub with CRB
4 - Extract with OP
5 - Groom
But I have considered putting a tank on my CRB
Having a tank with sprayer on my CRB would eliminate one step and make the process faster
I wouldn't be able to use it on every job but for Houses/Apartments with no furniture it would work

YESDo you keep a small spray bottle on hand for areas or spots that need more juice?

I haven't bought it. I have just considered buying it
I'm sure if you buy it you'll find many situations to use itI haven't bought it. I have just considered buying it
It wouldn't work on every situation
Most of the carpets I do at my Apt Complex are spotless. It would work on them
For trashed carpet I would prespray with Worx first and then just add some from CRB on areas/spots that needed more
I think I'm going to order one of these. I had one way back, but I could never get it to prime. I think it was defective because I tefloned every thread and connection.
Same problem, I keep a ketchup mustard squirt bottle in my van full of water with the pointy cap.I think I'm going to order one of these. I had one way back, but I could never get it to prime. I think it was defective because I tefloned every thread and connection.

There were a few small pet stains from her Boston Terrier that I used VacAway Oxi-Moxie on. It's a crystallizing Hydrogen Peroxide spotter that WORKS
VacAway spotters are outstanding. I used them even when I was HWE

I've done many of those?OK , not a knock, just maybe being realistic, there are limitations.
I love my VLM tools. Worx ,, original CCS OP Stepson
and ,
drink the Kool Aid time to time.
many years ago,, Vacaway claiming they are the best , newest at oily terribly soiled olefin!!! Heck yeah!! I'll try anything.
I forget which version it was back then.
Had a real test. Vacant home. some of the thickest , densest olefin you will EVER see. inch deep, could barely push my finger between the face fibers to get to the backing. White, TERRIBLY soiled. (old pics, with old phone don't do it any justice)
Got some of the aforementioned juice. And being realistic , realized the situation was not one for 100% VLM. I actually used the juice as a HWE cleaning agent first. Yeah foam, foam ,,, foam, I was anticipating that. and dealt with it. But , wanted to see if the touted magic juice of the day was IT! So performed the PITA foam filled HWE .
Quite a bit of drying strokes, BUT, I knew , plenty of that magic juice was down in there. just waiting to drag the oily, soils up into my absorbant bonnets spinning under my OP, leaving it like new.
NOPE!!!! traffic lanes still dingy. and NOOOOO, no blend mend! LOL!
Again, meant for me as an experiment. Spent probably 5-10 X the time that area should have taken.
